Kuwait Inspection Campaign Targets Restaurants, Shops; Violations Issued

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 18: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Kuwait, carried out a wide-ranging inspection campaign across the Capital Governorate, issuing nine violation reports for various offenses along with two additional notices related to business licensing.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the ministry said the field tour was conducted by emergency teams in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, Kuwait. The inspections targeted a range of commercial establishments, including restaurants and children’s toy stores.

The ministry noted that the campaign is part of ongoing efforts to enhance market oversight, ensure compliance with regulations, and strengthen cooperation among authorities. It added that such initiatives aim to protect consumer rights and take legal action against violators while promoting adherence to the law.
