Kuwait, Indonesia discuss ways to improve cooperation in labor sector

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Khaled Jassim Al-Yassin, meets with Indonesian Minister of Manpower Yassierli in the presence of ministry officials.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1: Kuwait and Indonesia discussed expanding cooperation in the labor sector during a meeting between Kuwait’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Khaled Jassim Al-Yassin, and Indonesian Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, officials said Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Jakarta, Ambassador Al-Yassin reviewed key labor cooperation needs and issues with the Indonesian minister, in the presence of officials from the ministry.

Talks centered on strengthening joint efforts in vocational training, skills development, and capacity building to support the requirements of the Kuwaiti labor market, the embassy said.
