KUWAIT CITY, April 13: Kuwaiti authorities have enacted Decree No. 66 of 2024, aimed at withdrawing citizenship from specified individuals, as outlined in the official document.
According to the decree, Kuwaiti citizenship is to be revoked from three individuals, as well as from those who acquired it through dependency. The decree, consisting of two articles, mandates the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of the Interior to execute its provisions promptly.
Article One of the decree specifies the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship from the designated individuals, while Article Two directs the responsible government official to ensure the implementation of the decree. The decree is set to take effect immediately upon issuance and will be officially published in the Official Gazette.
