Kuwait honors ‘Martyr of Duty’ First Sergeant Khalid Al-Sharaf

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Undersecretary Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, and senior officials pay respects at the military funeral of First Sergeant Khalid Al-Sharaf at Sulaibikhat Cemetery.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Kuwait bid farewell to First Sergeant Khalid Ahmed Al- Sharaf, a martyr of duty from the Directorate General of Correctional Institutions, in a military funeral on Wednesday. Leading the mourners at Sulaibikhat Cemetery were First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, along with Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al- Wuhaib, and senior security and military leaders.

The Ministry of Interior mourned the martyr of duty, who succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire that engulfed the Correctional Institutions building last month. Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers, deeply saddened by this loss, extend their sincere condolences to the martyr’s family, praying to Almighty Allah to grant him His mercy, accept him to Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
