Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs tours security sectors to review operational readiness and work progress.
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16: Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, visited the Private Security Sector, Correctional Institutions and Border Security Sector to review work progress, operational readiness and the tasks assigned to the respective sectors.
In a press statement Sunday, the Ministry of Interior said Al-Munaifi was briefed on the nature of the departments’ work and the security and field duties they carry out. Officials explained the mechanisms and procedures followed in performing their responsibilities. During the tour, Al-Munaifi reviewed the sectors’ level of preparedness to carry out their assigned tasks and discussed their key needs, operational requirements and ways to improve performance and enhance efficiency.
He also received a briefing on efforts to secure Kuwait’s borders and the duties carried out by the Border Security Sector. Discussions focused on addressing operational needs and requirements in ways that would strengthen efficiency and further enhance readiness. Al-Munaifi stressed the importance of maintaining a high level of preparedness and ensuring that security personnel perform their duties with efficiency and competence. He commended personnel in the Private Security and Border Security sectors for their continued efforts and dedication to carrying out their responsibilities and reinforcing Kuwait’s overall security system.(KUNA)
