Kuwait's health ministry highlights pioneering AI initiatives in patient care at GCC event.

Kuwait City, April 10: The Ministry of Health in Kuwait has dismissed a widely circulated video on social media showing medicines allegedly passing through an airport, clarifying that the footage is outdated and unrelated to the ministry.

In an official statement issued Friday, the ministry said the video dates back in past years and does not reflect its current systems, procedures, or oversight mechanisms. It stressed that the incident shown has no connection to the ministry or its operations in Kuwait.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining strict governance and regulatory controls over medicines and medical supplies, ensuring their safety and quality through established procedures.

It also warned that legal action is being pursued against those responsible for spreading misleading or inaccurate information that could harm the reputation of the national health system and its personnel.
