KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: Head of the Federation of Restaurants, Cafés and Catering Fahd Al-Arbash confirmed that the country has ample supply of coffee and it is not affected by the recent coffee crop damage in Brazil; hence, there has been no remarkable increase in the prices of coffee in Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to Al-Arabash, “most of the coffee products entering Kuwait are from India, so the changes brought about by the Brazilian crop crisis did not affect the country.” He pointed out that majority of Kuwaiti companies operating in the coffee industry, especially the major companies, have ample supply for six to seven months. This means the current stock is enough to meet the demand of the local market until the production of new crops early next year, he added.
