KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: Kuwait, Friday evening, handed over 19 Iranian prisoners to the Iranian authorities to complete their sentence in Tehran, reports Al-Rai daily.
Informed sources told the daily the extradition of the convicts comes within the framework of the prisoner exchange agreement signed by the two countries with the approval of all parties concerned.
The sources explained that the prisoners had served more than half of their sentences and the court had issued final verdicts in their cases.
