Kuwait handball team romps past Kazakhstan at the Asian Games

NAGOYA, Sept. 22: Kuwait’s national handball team bounced back in style at the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, cruising to a 43-19 victory over Kazakhstan in the third round of Group B.

Kuwait dominated from the outset, imposing its tempo with solid defensive organization, quick transitions, and a variety of attacking moves. Its effective play allowed it to take control early and build a comfortable lead.

Kuwait maintained its intensity throughout the match, with the players staying focused until the final whistle to complete a 24-goal victory.

The result marked Kuwait’s second win in the group, following its opening victory over Iran. It suffered its only defeat against South Korea in the second round and now has four points ahead of its final group match.

Kuwait will face Bahrain next Friday in their final Group B game, with the result expected to have a significant bearing on the final standings. The Blues seek to maintain their momentum and secure another positive result before moving into the knockout stage.

The emphatic victory over Kazakhstan showed that Kuwait had quickly put the South Korea defeat behind it and remained determined to make a strong push in the remainder of its Asian Games campaign.
