KUWAIT CITY, Dec 13: The Kuwait handball team, "Al-Azraq," is continuing its training camp in Cairo at the Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City as part of preparations for the upcoming Asian Championship, set to begin on January 15 in Kuwait.
Under the leadership of Icelandic coach Aron Kristiansson, with assistance from coach Heini Janssen, the team has intensified its training schedule, holding two sessions per day — one in the morning and one in the evening. The focus is on improving physical conditioning, enhancing fitness, and boosting endurance.
The training camp will wrap up on December 21, followed by two friendly matches against Egypt’s national team.
The team will then travel to Croatia for a final phase of international preparation, aiming to refine tactics and finalize the squad ahead of the Asian Championship.
