Kuwait Halts Iftar Meal Distribution Outside Mosques Until Further Notice

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 1 : The Ministry of Social Affairs has ordered the suspension of Iftar meal distributions outside mosques, citing the need to prevent gatherings and ensure adherence to safety procedures amid ongoing regional developments.

In a letter issued by the Department of Charitable Societies and Foundations, the ministry instructed the heads of charitable societies and foundation boards to halt all Iftar distributions except those held داخل mosques, until further notice.

The directive comes as part of precautionary measures being taken in light of current regional conditions and events, the ministry said.
