Kuwait hails Lebanon measures to restore relations with GCC states

KUWAIT, March 22: Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed on Tuesday the commitment by Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati to restore Lebanon’s relations with the member states of the of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). In a statement following his a phone call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister Mikati renewed Lebanon’s commitment to adopt the necessary measures in this regard. The State of Kuwait is looking forward to Lebanon building on these constructive measures, which could in turn contribute to more secure, stable and prosperous Lebanon, and the welfare of the brotherly people of Lebanon, according to a press release from the Kuwaiti Ministry.(KUNA)
