KUWAIT CITY, Mar 4: Kuwait mourned on Wednesday as family and community members attended the funeral of an 11-year-old, who tragically lost her life after being injured by shrapnel in a residential area of the Capital Governorate.
The Ministry of Health confirmed early Wednesday that she succumbed to her injuries despite urgent medical attention. Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said she was brought to Al-Amiri Hospital by emergency medical services, where resuscitation efforts began at the scene and continued for approximately 30 minutes after her arrival.
Dr. Al-Sanad noted that emergency teams acted swiftly, but tragically, Na could not be saved. The incident has left the local community grieving the loss of a young life, highlighting the ongoing dangers in affected areas.
