KUWAIT CITY, Sept 22: Governors of Kuwait’s six governorates held a meeting Monday to discuss a range of issues, including security, development, the economy, environment, and social affairs, with a key focus on raising and improving public services and facilities nationwide.

The meeting took place at the office of Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, who welcomed fellow governors: Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah of the Capital Governorate; the Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Acting Governor of Hawalli Sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah; Governor of Jahra Hamad Al-Habshi; Governor of Ahmadi Sheikh Humoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; and Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Director General of the General Administration of Ministerial Committees and Governorates Affairs.

The governors underscored their vital role in monitoring progress on ongoing and completed development projects and reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the wise leadership’s directives aimed at serving citizens and advancing Kuwait’s development.

They expressed appreciation to the political leadership and government for their continuous support, emphasizing that their ongoing coordination seeks to unify efforts and foster teamwork across the governorates.

The Farwaniya Governor highlighted that the continuation of these meetings enhances integration among the governorates and positively impacts development efforts and public service delivery throughout Kuwait.
