Kuwait, France review ways to boost IT, telecom cooperation

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: Omar Al-Omar, Minister of State for Communications Affairs and Acting Minister of Information and Culture, met Thursday with the French Ambassador to Kuwait, Olivier Gauvin, and the CEO of the French company Pertimm, Charles- Henri Puaux. The meeting discussed avenues of cooperation between the two nations in the fields of telecommunications and information technology, a ministry statement noted, adding that ways to strengthen partnerships and exchange expertise in technical and digital sectors were also discussed. These efforts aim to support technological advancement and innovation while fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors. The statement quoted Minister Al- Omar as emphasizing Kuwait’s commitment to further strengthening relations with France and expanding the scope of cooperation in technical and digital fields.(KUNA)
