KUWAIT CITY, Apr 19: The Kuwait Meteorological Department has forecast unsettled weather conditions across the country starting Sunday, with rain expected to persist until Wednesday morning, accompanied at times by thunderstorms and active winds that may trigger dust storms and reduced visibility.
Acting Director Darrar Al-Ali told Kuwait News Agency that weather maps indicate increasing cloud cover over the country, including low and medium clouds interspersed with cumulonimbus formations, which are likely to produce scattered rainfall that could turn thundery in some areas.
He added that winds may become active intermittently, stirring up dust and causing a drop in horizontal visibility in certain regions, while also leading to rough sea conditions with rising wave heights.
According to the forecast, rainfall will remain light on Sunday but is expected to intensify on Monday and Tuesday before gradually easing, with weather conditions improving and rain chances ending by Wednesday morning.
