KUWAIT CITY, July 13: The General Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces announced that the country's air defense systems are currently engaging hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace.

In an official statement, the military said any explosion sounds heard across parts of the country are the result of air defense systems intercepting the incoming hostile attacks.

The General Staff urged the public to remain calm and follow all safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
