Kuwait food authority issues voluntary recall of infant formula batches
Kuwait Public Authority for Food and Nutrition recalls batches of S26 AR Gold infant formula over contamination risk.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) on Wednesday announced a voluntary and limited recall of several batches of the infant formula product S26 AR Gold due to a potential contamination risk.

The recall follows a notification from the manufacturer in France through the European Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), the authority said in a press release.

The affected batches include:

  • 5125080661 – Production date: May 5, 2025 | Expiry date: October 27, 2026
  • 5185080661 – Production date: July 4, 2025 | Expiry date: December 26, 2026
  • 5330080661 – Production date: November 26, 2025 | Expiry date: May 20, 2027 (currently in transit and under company custody)

Consumers are advised to check the batch numbers and dispose of the product immediately if it matches any of the affected numbers, following instructions issued via official channels.

The authority stressed that the recall is a precautionary measure in line with its ongoing commitment to consumer safety.
