Kuwait Food Authority Inspects 192 Establishments, Destroys 36,500 kg of Unfit Food

KUWAIT CITY, April 24: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition confirmed that it intensified its inspection campaigns through the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate Inspection Center during March and April. During these campaigns, 192 establishments were inspected, 27 violations were issued, 5 written pledges were obtained, and 4 complaints were received.

In a press statement issued Friday, the Authority said that 36,540 kilograms of unfit food were destroyed, and legal action was taken against the violators. It stressed its continued efforts to protect consumer health and ensure food safety.
