KUWAIT CITY, May 3: Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that armed forces successfully thwarted an attempted illegal entry into the country’s territorial waters, leading to the arrest of four infiltrators.

In a statement, official spokesman Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said the incident occurred early yesterday morning, when security forces detected and intercepted a group attempting to enter Kuwait by sea without authorization. The four individuals were apprehended and subsequently referred to the relevant authorities for further legal action.

Al-Otaibi emphasized the vigilance and readiness of Kuwait’s armed forces in safeguarding the nation’s borders, particularly against maritime security threats. He also urged the public to rely on official sources for accurate information and to refrain from spreading rumors or unverified reports.
