Kuwait FM, Pakistan counterpart discuss regional developments and ceasefire efforts

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 8: Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held a telephone conversation on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to discuss the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

During the call, Sheikh Jarrah praised Pakistan’s diplomatic role in contributing to the recent ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, according to Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both sides reviewed current regional conditions and stressed the importance of continued coordination and diplomatic engagement to support stability.
