Kuwait FM, Marco Rubio Condemn Iran's Aggression Against Kuwait

WASHINGTON, Jun 4: Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington on Thursday, where both sides reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Kuwait and the United States and discussed regional security developments.

During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the longstanding ties between the two countries and expressed their commitment to strengthening cooperation across political, defense, investment, and cultural sectors. They stressed the importance of expanding bilateral coordination in ways that serve the shared interests of both nations.

A key focus of the talks was the recent attacks against Kuwait, with both sides condemning what they described as Iran’s repeated aggressions against the State of Kuwait. The ministers also affirmed Kuwait’s right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
