KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: First-grade students in Kuwait began their school year on Monday, stepping into classrooms filled with joy, wonder, and vibrant decorations that marked the beginning of their educational journey.
Elementary schools opened their doors to first graders early in the morning, with hallways and classrooms adorned in colorful decorations and welcoming drawings prepared by educational staff to greet the new students. School staff were fully dedicated to guiding the children through this major milestone, helping ease them into the school environment with care and enthusiasm.
The young students, filled with curiosity and excitement, were accompanied by parents who shared the moment with a mix of pride, anticipation, and a touch of anxiety. School administrations worked to ensure a warm and supportive welcome, organizing introductory programs and educational games aimed at helping the children integrate smoothly and build self-confidence as they take their first steps toward learning.
The new school year for the remaining elementary, intermediate, and high school students will begin on Tuesday, while kindergartners are scheduled to start on Wednesday.
