Kuwait Fire Force Shuts Down 66 Facilities in Capital, Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15 : The General Fire Force, in cooperation with several government agencies, has administratively closed 66 facilities and issued notices and warnings to another 126 during an inspection campaign in the Capital and Al Farwaniyah governorates.

The campaign targeted buildings and facilities that violate fire safety and prevention requirements, aiming to ensure compliance with regulations and enhance public safety.

According to the General Fire Force, the 66 facilities were ordered closed, while 126 others received notices and warnings for failing to meet the required fire safety standards.

The inspection drive forms part of ongoing efforts to enforce fire prevention regulations and address violations that could pose risks to lives and property.
