Kuwait Fire Force Handles 76 Incidents from Drone and Missile Debris

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: The Kuwait Fire Force announced on Thursday that it has handled 76 unusual incidents since the onset of the recent regional escalation, primarily caused by debris from intercepted drones and missiles.

During a media briefing, Mohammad Al-Gharib, Director of Public Relations and Media, said firefighting teams have been deployed across multiple locations as part of heightened preparedness and security operations.

He noted that six firefighting teams responded earlier in the day to two separate fires at the Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries after operational units were targeted by hostile drones. The fires were swiftly contained and extinguished, preventing any spread.

Al-Gharib affirmed that all personnel remain on high alert, continuing to carry out their duties with dedication to protect lives, property, and public safety, while maintaining readiness to respond to any further developments. (KUNA)
