MANAMA, Sept 2 (KUNA): Kuwait’s fencing team continued its impressive run at the West Asian Championship, hosted by Bahrain and running through September 4.
On the third day of the tournament at Al-Najma Sports Club, the national team added six medals to its tally, bringing the total to 21.
Sahar Al-Omair claimed gold in the Under-15 girls’ saber, while Abdulaziz Duaij took gold in the Under-15 boys’ saber.
In the Under-15 boys’ epee, Khaled Al-Houli earned silver, and Yousef Al-Shammari secured bronze. Bronze medals were also won by Shaikha Al-Batty in the Under-15 girls’ epee and Nour Al-Najjar in the Under-15 girls’ foil.
