KUWAIT CITY, Mar 8: Kuwait's Civil Service Commission announced on Sunday that government employees stranded outside the country due to regional airspace closures and exceptional circumstances will be exempt from work duties during their absence.
The period will be counted as actual working time until employees can return, with the Commission coordinating with government agencies, public bodies, and institutions to address the situation.
The exemption duration will be determined by direct supervisors and documented with proof of being abroad, ensuring inclusion in automated systems per established procedures, the statement on social media confirmed.
