KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Ministry of Education announced Monday the resumption of evening school clubs for the 2025–2026 academic year, with activities set to begin next Sunday. Online registration opened today through the ministry’s official website.
In a press statement, the Ministry explained that the evening school clubs will operate daily from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering students a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. Students wishing to participate are encouraged to register electronically. Those unable to register online during the designated period may visit the centers in person to complete their registration.
The clubs will feature a variety of sports programs tailored to students’ interests, including football, handball, volleyball, and swimming. Bowling will also be offered, with the Ministry highlighting its benefits in improving students’ concentration and motor skills.
Beyond athletics, the clubs will extend into scientific and technological fields with dedicated programs for robotics, programming, and practical studies such as electricity and interior decoration. These offerings aim to equip students with advanced technical skills and foster innovation and engineering capabilities.
The Ministry noted that evening school clubs are available free of charge to both boys and girls enrolled in public and private schools, reinforcing the principle of equal opportunity and ensuring all students can participate and benefit equally.
This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to enhance educational support services and promote holistic development. By integrating regular academic study with specialized programs, the Ministry aims to help students build balanced personalities that combine scholastic achievement with personal growth.
