KUWAIT CITY, May 2: President Masoud Johar Hayat of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation applauds the achievements of the current season, highlighting the fierce competition among male and female riders across all levels. He attributes this success to the technical prowess of the champions and the unwavering support of the fans throughout the season.
Hayat emphasizes the outstanding conclusion of the third season of the league, noting the exceptional organization amidst robust competition, strong public turnout, and significant sponsorship support.
Expressing gratitude to all sponsors, including government and private sector entities, for their steadfast support of equestrian sports, Hayat acknowledges their role in elevating the sport to its current honorable status.
The eighth and final round of the league kicks off at 4:15 pm at the Kuwait Equestrian Center track in the Subhan area.
Riders representing local clubs will compete across various heights, ranging from 90 cm to 140 cm, with competitions continuing tomorrow at heights of 115 cm, and 135 cm, and culminating in the grand prize round at 145 cm.
Top rider Ali Al-Kharafi from Kuwait Club leads the knights’ standings with 150 points, followed by Fawaz Al-Sabai from Subhan Club (105), Ghazi Al-Jariwi from Kuwait Club (96), Abdullah Al-Awadi from Al-Mas’ael Club (76), and Yara Al-Hunaidi from Kuwait Club (73). Kuwait Equestrian Club leads the club standings, followed by Hawalli Club and Subhan Club (274). The tournament is proudly sponsored by Zain, KGL, and Kuwait International Bank.
