Kuwait enters midsummer furnace as sun intensifies

KUWAIT CITY, July 12: The Al-Ojeiri Scientific Center announced that midsummer will begin on July 16, coinciding with the start of the second Gemini period, which lasts 13 days, reports Al- Seyassah daily. The center explained that this period marks the beginning of a gradual decline in daylight hours, accompanied by an increase in the sun’s intensity. Kuwait’s skies will witness a conjunction of the moon and Saturn on July 16, followed by a conjunction of the moon and Venus on July 17. The month will conclude with the full moon on July 29, internationally known as the “Buck Moon.”
