Real estate and information system experts interviewed by the n e w s p a p e r believe that artificial intelligence applications have brought about a qualitative shift in all aspects of real estate work. They are now capable of analyzing big data to extract future market trends, predict price movements, and identify promising areas for investment. They also entered the field of automated real estate valuation, which enables accurate and immediate estimates of market value based on real data, enhancing transparency and reducing the likelihood of human error.
They affirmed that smart systems contribute to improving customer experience through chatbots and virtual assistants capable of providing immediate responses and accurate recommendations. Meanwhile, AI-powered marketing tools help target the right segments and customize offers according to each customer’s needs. They enable smart asset and building management by monitoring energy consumption and implementing predictive maintenance, reducing operating costs and increasing efficiency. Abdullah Al-Saleh, CEO of Sakan Real Estate Platform, pointed out that AI is no longer just an analytical tool or a technical luxury, as it has become the foundation for building a comprehensive system of digital real estate products that will reshape the sector by 2027. He pointed out that the most prominent of these products is the ‘smart agent’, a digital real estate broker that performs most of the tasks of a traditional broker using AI technologies.
Former Regional Director for Information Systems at the United Nations and the World Bank Mohammad Abbas Al-Thaka stated that the real estate sector in Kuwait is undergoing an accelerated digital transformation, led by AI and its advanced applications in the fields of machine learning and big data analysis, becoming a key tool in reshaping the future of the local real estate market. Dr. Safaa Zaman, a faculty member at Kuwait University and head of Kuwait Information Security Association, said AI has radically transformed the real estate sector, stressing that it is no longer a complementary tool, as it is now the major driver in reshaping the real estate landscape in Kuwait and the whole world.
