Kuwait Employers Asked to Display Electronic Attendance QR Code for Inspections

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has urged employers to prominently display the electronic attendance policy and QR code at the entrance of their establishments to facilitate labor inspections.

In an advisory to employers, PAM said inspectors must be able to scan the QR code and review the attendance policy, as well as verify employees’ attendance and departure records during inspection visits.

The authority stressed that compliance with the requirement would help organize the work environment and streamline inspection procedures, contributing to a more organized and efficient labor market.
