Kuwait Embassy warns citizens in Turkey of snowstorm

The Kuwait Embassy in Istanbul issues a snowstorm warning.

ISTANBUL, Jan 12: The Kuwaiti Consulate General in Istanbul on Sunday urged Kuwaiti citizens to exercise caution due to a snowstorm expected to hit Turkey on Monday.

In a statement, the Consulate advised Kuwaiti nationals in Istanbul and surrounding areas to avoid travel between cities and regions until the weather conditions improve and the storm subsides.

The Consulate emphasized the importance of complying with instructions and safety guidelines issued by the relevant Turkish authorities to ensure public safety.

Kuwaiti citizens requiring assistance were advised to contact the Consulate General in Istanbul via its emergency hotline at +90 530 690 2097.
