KUWAIT CITY, Mar 31: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Rome, Italy participated in the mourning of the lives of thousands of victims died by coronavirus( Covid 19).

The Kuwaiti ambassador to Italy, Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah commemorated moment of silence at 12:00 p.m. (local time) in front of the Kuwaiti embassy in Rome which was called by the Italian provinces where all participated.

Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah said that the embassy’s participation with Italian people in this mourning is an expression of our heartfelt, grief and the pain we share with the families of the victims of this dangerous epidemic that has hit Italy severely.

Sheikh Azzam affirmed that the leadership and people of Kuwait stands along with the Italian government and show our solidarity with the friendly Italian people in this ordeal.

Flags flowed over the Republican Palace and the headquarters of the municipalities and was observed by one minute of silence, waving the Italian flag hanging from balconies and windows, while the churches rang the funeral bells.

According to the latest statistics received, the total infection of the virus (Corona emerging - Covid 19) in Italy exceeded the barrier of 100,000cases, while the number of deaths reached 11,591
