Kuwait discusses civil aviation cooperation with Spain and Sweden

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: Kuwait discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the civil aviation sector with Spain and Sweden during separate meetings held on Wednesday.

The head of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the State of Kuwait, Manuel Hernandez Gamayo, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Fredrik Florén, resident in Abu Dhabi, to review prospects for strengthening cooperation in civil aviation.

In a press statement, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said the meeting with the Spanish ambassador focused on boosting bilateral cooperation in civil aviation, exchanging technical and operational expertise, increasing operational capacity between the two countries, and exploring future partnership opportunities with Spanish companies specializing in the aviation industry.

The statement added that talks with the Swedish ambassador addressed bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Sweden in the civil aviation sector, ways to develop future partnerships serving mutual interests, and opportunities for exchanging expertise in areas including aviation safety, air navigation, and modern technologies.
