KUWAIT CITY, May 10: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has urged passengers to submit air transport-related complaints through the Sahel application to ensure the protection of their rights and facilitate faster follow-up procedures.
In a post published on its official X account, the DGCA said the service allows travelers to file complaints covering a wide range of aviation and travel-related issues, including flight delays, baggage problems, flight cancellations, booking cancellations, changes in flight schedules or booking class, refusal to board passengers, financial claims, package tours and dummy bookings.
The authority added that passengers can also report cases involving flight route changes, aircraft returning after takeoff, injuries or deaths onboard aircraft, as well as other unspecified complaints related to the air transport market.
The move comes as part of ongoing efforts to improve passenger services and streamline communication between travelers and aviation authorities through digital government platforms.
