KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9 : The General Traffic Department has detained a Bangladeshi truck driver after a complaint about littering on a road in Jabriya, uncovering an additional violation involving his driving license.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the driver was found operating a semi-truck with a license that did not authorize him to drive that category of vehicle.
He was issued traffic citations for littering and driving a semi-truck without the appropriate license. He was then transferred to the traffic detention center for precautionary detention pending deportation procedures, while the vehicle was impounded and sent to crusher in accordance with established procedures.
The General Traffic Department said it would continue taking legal action against violators to enhance road safety and maintain public cleanliness.
