Kuwait defeats Tajikistan 2-1

KUWAIT CITY, March 29: Kuwait’s football team won against Tajikistan with a score of (2-1) two goals to one in an international friendly match held at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. Badr Tariq scored the first goal for Kuwait team with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the ninth minute.

Shabib Al-Khalidi scored the second goal with a header in the 61st minute. Tajikistan managed to score one goal only, which was scored by Ali Jalilov in the 90th minute. Kuwait’s national team has been successful in their friendly matches, with victories against the Philippines last Friday and Tajikistan today, in preparation for upcoming football matches.
