KUWAIT CITY, March 25: Kuwait's national football team secured a 2-0 victory over the visiting Philippine team in an international friendly match held on Friday evening at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. The match, aimed at improving the teams' rankings in the International Federation of the Game (FIFA), saw a lackluster first half with few real chances.

However, the Kuwaiti team came alive in the second half, launching several attacks and ultimately scoring two goals. The first goal was scored by Badr Tariq in the 72nd minute with an impressive shot from outside the penalty area, while the second was scored by Ali Khalaf after expertly capitalizing on a perfect pass from teammate Ahmed Al-Zanki. Kuwait's next match is against Tajikistan on Tuesday, as part of the FIFA national team competitions.
