Kuwait defeats Bahrain 128/124 in Asian World Cricket qualifiers

DOHA, Oct 24: The Kuwait cricket team defeated its Bahraini counterpart (128/124) Sunday, in the final Asian qualifiers for the World Cricket Championship to be held in Australia in 2022. The director of the Kuwait cricket team, Mahmoud Abdullah, expressed to KUNA his happiness with the result of the team in its first match in these qualifiers. In addition, the Kuwaiti national team will meet Saudi Arabia and the Maldives on Thursday, while it will meet Qatar next Friday in these qualifiers assigned by the International Cricket Federation to Qatar.
