Kuwait deeply concerned over regional military escalation, urges restraint

KUWAIT CITY, April 14: On Sunday, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its profound apprehension regarding the escalating military tensions in the region and the increasingly adverse effects on both regional and global stability and security.

Through an official statement, Kuwait urged exercising self-restraint to mitigate the risks associated with such escalation and its consequences.

Emphasizing the critical role of the UN Security Council in upholding its obligations to preserve international peace and security, and prevent conflicts by ensuring the commitment of the international community, the ministry underscored the importance of addressing the underlying causes of tensions and embracing diplomatic approaches to resolve conflicts, all aimed at fostering regional stability.
