KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: The General Directorate of Customs has urged travelers passing through Kuwait’s customs ports not to carry or transport bags or luggage belonging to other people, warning that they could face legal liability if such baggage contains prohibited items.
In an advisory issued through the Government Communication Center, Customs also urged travelers to check the contents of all luggage they are carrying before crossing customs points. It stressed that baggage belonging to others could contain materials prohibited by law from being imported, exported or transported, potentially exposing the person carrying the luggage to legal consequences.
