Kuwait Customs Chief inspects Terminal 4, reviews operations
GAC Director General Al-Nuwaif inspects Kuwait Airport T4 to review work, staff needs.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18:  Director General of the General Administration of Customs (GAC) Yousef Al-Nuwaif, accompanied by Deputy Director for Customs Investigation and Investigation Saleh Al-Omar, conducted an inspection visit to Kuwait International Airport's Terminal 4 (T4) on Thursday, following directives from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah.

According to a press statement issued by the General Administration of Customs, the visit is part of the GAC's ongoing commitment to monitor the progress of work at customs ports and assess the requirements of customs personnel. The aim is to address challenges faced by the workforce, enhance operational efficiency, and bolster the country’s security against smuggling while ensuring smooth trade flow in line with applicable laws and regulations.

The inspection included a review of passenger reception procedures and the customs inspection process. During the tour, officials also listened to feedback and suggestions from customs inspectors regarding ways to improve workflows.

The Director General expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the customs staff, commending their alertness and dedication to fulfilling their national responsibilities.
