Kuwait Crown Prince, Pakistan PM Discuss Regional De-escalation in Phone Call

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 17: His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, held a telephone conversation on Friday with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the latest regional developments and efforts to promote stability.

During the call, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from Kuwait’s Amir, Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to Pakistan’s leadership and praised Pakistan’s role in supporting regional peace and security initiatives, reaffirming Kuwait’s backing for diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful settlement.

Prime Minister Sharif, in response, reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of recent attacks targeting Kuwait and other regional countries, expressing full solidarity with Kuwait.

Both sides emphasized the need for de-escalation, an immediate halt to military operations, and a return to diplomatic solutions to ensure regional and international stability.
