KUWAIT CITY, Sep 8: The Commercial Control Department has seized a warehouse in the Capital Governorate containing 588 assorted items found to violate public order and Islamic Sharia rules.

The seizure was part of ongoing inspection efforts to protect consumers and enforce commercial regulations. Authorities said the violations contravened Article 10, Items 1 and 2, of Ministerial Resolution No. 216 of 2014, which provides the executive regulations for Law No. 117 of 2012, amending certain provisions of Decree-Law No. 10 of 1979 concerning the supervision of trade in goods, services, and crafts.

Following the inspection, the warehouse was immediately sealed, and an official violation report was issued. The necessary legal procedures were completed, and the case was referred to the Commercial Prosecution for further action.
