Kuwait Cracks Down on Violations in Fitness Clubs and Sports Nutrition Stores

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 29: Authorities in the State of Kuwait have intensified inspection campaigns targeting commercial establishments, uncovering multiple violations across fitness clubs and retail outlets. The Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department conducted field visits to fitness centers, moisturizer and juice shops, and grocery stores in various areas.

During the campaign, officials issued two summons warnings to a fitness club and a dietary supplement store for failing to comply with regulations governing the sale and trade of energy drinks. Additionally, one fitness club was ordered shut for operating without a valid license.

The Ministry confirmed that inspection efforts will continue, stressing its commitment to ensuring businesses adhere to established regulations and that strict action will be taken against violators to protect consumers and maintain market standards.
