KUWAIT CITY, July 1: Today, the Ministry of Interior launched an extensive inspection campaign at dawn across all six governorates, marking the end of the grace period for residency law violators to amend their status, which expired on June 30, 2024. This initiative, directed by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, aims to apprehend individuals who have failed to comply with residency regulations.

The campaign was led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, and involved multiple security sectors and supporting agencies. The operation targets those who did not take advantage of the March 14 to June 30 grace period to regularize their status by paying the required fines in accordance with established procedures.

Authorities emphasized that this operation is a crucial step in enforcing residency laws and ensuring compliance nationwide.
