KUWAIT CITY, Mar 17: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that an extensive inspection campaign conducted on Monday evening in Al-Jahra Governorate resulted in 24 violation reports against shops for various offenses. In a statement carried by Kuwait News Agency, the ministry said emergency inspection teams identified key violations, including failure to comply with fixed food prices, selling goods above approved rates, displaying no price lists, conducting promotional offers without a license, and not indicating the country of origin. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening market oversight, ensuring the availability of goods and services, and protecting consumer rights.
