KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: In a coordinated operation between the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) and the Ministry of Interior, Kuwaiti authorities have seized a private residence that had been illegally used as a food facility without a valid health license.
According to PAFN, the action comes as part of ongoing efforts to protect public health and ensure food security by cracking down on violations that endanger citizens. The unlicensed establishment was discovered operating in blatant violation of health and safety regulations approved by the Authority.
The PAFN stressed that such offenses constitute serious violations for which reconciliation is not permissible, given their direct threat to public safety and disregard for technical and health requirements set by law.
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing all individuals and entities that attempt to undermine established food safety standards in Kuwait.
