Kuwait Cracks Down on Gold Market Over Price Cheats

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 25: The Ministry of Commerce's Consumer Protection Department conducted an inspection tour of the gold market in the Capital Governorate, resulting in the issuance of five seizure reports for various violations.

Officials said the most common breaches included refusal to sell and selling at prices different from those announced, highlighting the department’s ongoing efforts to ensure fair trade practices and protect consumers.

Authorities have reiterated the importance of compliance with market regulations and warned businesses that violations will be met with strict enforcement measures.
